Threat To South Pasadena Business Deemed Hoax

Police in South Pasadena investigated a threat phoned into a Fair Oaks Avenue business.

SOUTH PASADENA, CA — A telephonic threat made Saturday to a business in South Pasadena was determined to not be credible, police said Sunday.

The telephonic threat was made about 4 p.m. Saturday to a business in the 700 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, where police responded to the scene and investigated, the South Pasadena Police Department reported.

"At the conclusion of the officer's preliminary investigation, the threat made was found to not be credible," police said. "The investigation is ongoing to determine the origin of the call and to identify the caller."
