Whiz Kid: South Pas Swimmer Ranks First in the Nation
Connor Lee, 11, is a member of the South Pasadena Sea Tigers swim team who ranks at the top in the 100-meter butterfly.

Meet South Pasadena Middle School student Connor Lee.
His Accomplishment: Connor finished the Southern California Swimming Short Course Season ranking first in the nation for the 11-year-old boys 100 meter butterfly event, with a time of 58.33.
Ranking first at any age and at any level, be it amateur or professional, in any aspect of life - career, academics, arts, sports - is an amazing accomplishment. But for Connor, the story does not end there. He is also nationally ranked in several other events.
He is currently second in the 50 meter butterfly with a time of 26.50, fourth in the 200 meter butterfly with a time of 2:11.89, and seventh in the 100 meter individual medley coming in at 1:01.22.
His Key to Awesomeness: Connor is extremely dedicated to his swimming and practices two and a half hours, six days a week.
