129 SFO Flights Canceled Due To Storms

Thanks to a series of storms slamming the nation, dozens of flights were canceled Wednesday.

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA — There are 129 canceled flights at San Francisco International Airport today due to storms across the United States.

Airport spokesman Doug Yakel said 50 of the cancellations were to or from the Northeast area of the U.S., and 79 are related to poor weather on the West Coast. About 10 percent of the airport's flights are canceled.

Federal Aviation Administration officials said some flights may be delayed an average of four hours and eight minutes, but Yakel said the number does not reflect real-time delays.
