3-Alarm Blaze Strikes SSF Industrial Area
The fire was reported about 2:50 p.m. in the 100 block of Starlite Street, about a block from the South San Francisco Fire Department.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — An hour after announcing containment of a grassfire on South San Francisco's sign hill, the city's firefighters were responding to another blaze, this time in an industrial and business park area near North Canal Street.

The three-alarm fire was reported about 2:50 p.m. in the 100 block of Starlite Street, about a block from the South San Francisco Fire Department.
Fire officials posted on Twitter about 3 p.m., asking people to avoid the area.
