Five Residents Displaced in Residential Fire in Daly City

The structure fire occurred on Parkview Ave. Monday.

A residential fire in Daly City displaced four adults and a child Monday afternoon, according to fire officials.

Firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at 155 Parkview Ave. at 1:18 p.m., according to fire officials.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke coming from the two-story building. All the residents were safely evacuated and the fire was brought under control.

The American Red Cross assisted the five displaced residents in coordinating alternate living arrangements, fire officials said.

No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported. The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation, fire officials said.
