New Peninsula Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Site Opens
The testing site is run by Verily, the life science research arm of Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company.

DALY CITY, CA — Verily Life Sciences expanded COVID-19 coronavirus testing in San Mateo County on Wednesday, adding a drive-thru testing site in Daly City for North County residents.
San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa and officials with the Jefferson Union High School District worked with Verily, the life science research arm of Alphabet Inc., to make testing available at the site on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"The best way to identify COVID-19 in our communities is to test for it. We know that we have some hotspots in north San Mateo County with higher concentrations of the disease," Canepa said. "The best way to put your mind at ease is to take the test."
