Onyx Pharmaceuticals To Expand South City Headquarters
The biopharmaceutical company will grow its headquarters by 107,250 square feet.

Biopharmaceutical company Onyx Pharmaceuticals Inc. has grand plans to expand its South San Francisco headquarters by 107,250 square feet.
Originally from Emeryville, the company has already expanded once, and is now expected to grow its headquarters on 249 E. Grand Ave by mid-2014. It will be able to hold upwards of 300 people.
Onyx, along with Bayer, have sold the liver and cancer drug Nexavar for many years. The company’s stocks shot up by 4.34 percent to $83.49 last Friday.
