SFO Christmas Flight Delays, Cancellations: Status
Rain and even snow are threatening to disrupt holiday travel across California, including at SFO.

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA — Rain and even snow are threatening to disrupt holiday travel across California, but things are going smoothly so far at San Francisco International Airport, according to its current listed flights.
Out of the more than 1,200 departures listed Tuesday morning at SFO, only 15 were listed as canceled or delayed. Two Southwest flights to Phoenix and San Diego were canceled, while other flights to cities ranging from Fresno to Sacramento to San Salvador were delayed, in some cases for several hours.
The worst of the Bay Area rain isn't expected until Tuesday evening, and is expected to continue into Christmas morning on Wednesday. We'll update this story if the delays start rolling in at SFO.
