Shooting Leaves Bullet Holes In South San Francisco Home

The victim told police he does not know why someone would shoot into his home and he had no suspect information.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A South San Francisco resident found bullet holes in his home and windows when he arrived home early Monday morning, police said.

Officers were called at 2:06 a.m. by the victim who lives in the 200 block of Verano Drive. Police said the victim told officers that he does not know why someone would shoot into his home and he had no suspect information.

Officers were first alerted to a shooting an hour earlier after someone reported that they heard four or five gunshots in the area of Serena Court, which is nearby.

Officers went to the area and did not locate any suspects or evidence, police said.

Officers continue to investigate the shooting.
