Shots Reported on Diamond Avenue

Three people were detained but there were no arrests made.

Shots were heard in South San Francisco early Friday morning, according to police.

Possible shots were reported on the 500 block of Diamond Avenue shortly before 1:30 a.m., according to Sgt. Bruce McPhillips.

Three people were detained and interviewed, and two tested for gunshot residue, McPhillips said.

There were no injuries reported, however, and the subjects gave inconsistent statements. No arrests were made, but the incident remains under
investigation, McPhillips said.
