Teen Opens, Flees Out Plane's Emergency Exit On SFO Tarmac
BREAKING: Airport officials say an airfield construction crew took hold of the teen and he was in custody Tuesday.

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CA — A teenage boy opened an emergency exit on a plane that landed at San Francisco International Airport this afternoon and exited the plane onto the tarmac, a spokesman for the airport said.
At about 2:30 p.m., a Copa Airlines flight from Panama City was waiting to taxi to an arrival gate when the teen opened an overwing emergency exit and got down to the tarmac.
Airport spokesman Doug Yakel said an airfield construction crew took hold of the teen and he was in custody.

Yakel said the teen was not injured and air traffic was not affected.
