SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — If you're planning on being out and about this weekend, plan to enjoy some "warmer than normal temperatures" through Saturday, the National Weather Service said Friday.

"A cooling trend is then forecast for Sunday and Monday as a weather system pushes inland over the Pacific Northwest and far northern California," the NWS said in its latest forecast discussion. "Mostly dry weather conditions are expected to persist through the end of next week."
