Car Crash Along 101 Freeway Causes Major Traffic Buildup
The accident occurred on the westbound 101 freeway near the Woodman Avenue exit.
STUDIO CITY, CA — A car crash along the westbound 101 freeway has caused a significant traffic slowdown near Studio City. The crash occurred around 12:30 p.m.between the Woodman Avenue and Van Nuys Boulevard exits.
Four cars were blocking the two left most lanes, which caused heavy traffic all the way back to Colfax Avenue. A tow truck was en route to remove the cars and reopen the freeway.
A SigAlert was issued at 12:57 p.m. expecting to last at least 30 minutes.
