Driver Shot In Studio City Road Rage Incident
The driver of a red Lexus was hospitalized with a minor gunshot wound in his right arm.
STUDIO CITY, CA — A man was shot in Studio City Monday morning in an apparent road rage incident on the 101 freeway. The shooting was reported at 3:33 a.m. on the Laurel Canyon Boulevard on-ramp to the northbound 101 freeway, according to California Highway Patrol.
A black Lexus SC400, a red Lexus SC400 and a white, older sedan were involved in the incident. Details on what led up to the shooting weren't immediately available.
"This incident culminated into a freeway shooting, when the driver of the white sedan began shooting at the red Lexus and striking the victim in the right arm on the Laurel Canyon Boulevard on-ramp to the northbound US-101," the CHP said in a news statement.

CHP officers contacted both Lexus drivers near Van Nuys Boulevard and Hutson Street. The driver of the white sedan accused of the shooting continued to drive northbound on Laurel Canyon Boulevard according to CHP.
The white sedan was damaged with red paint on the left side, and suffered damage on the driver's side door. Paramedics took the driver of the red Lexus to the hospital to be treated with a minor gunshot wound to the right arm.
