Driver Wounded In Road Rage Shooting In Studio City
Another road rage shooting on a Southern California highway left a driver with minor injuries.

STUDIO CITY, CA — A man suffered minor injuries after he was shot during a road rage incident in Studio City early Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The shooting involved three cars: an unidentified white sedan and two Lexus SC400 vehicles, one black and one red, the CHP said. The man in the red Lexus sustained a minor gunshot would to his right arm during a road rage incident on the Ventura 101 Freeway, which was reported at 3:33 a.m.
"This incident culminated into a freeway shooting when the driver of the white sedan began shooting at the red Lexus and striking the victim in the right arm on the Laurel Canyon Boulevard on-ramp to the northbound US-101," the CHP said in a news statement.

Officers made contact with the drivers of the two Lexus vehicles near Van Nuys Boulevard and Huston Street while the driver of the older model white sedan continued northbound from Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
The white sedan took damage to the left side and had red paint transfer from a sideswipe. The driver's side door was also damaged, the CHP said.

The injured driver of the red Lexus was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
The CHP's West Valley Area office urged anyone with any information regarding the shooting to call them at 818-888-0980.
Earlier this month, a 6-year-old boy was killed in another road rage shooting on the Costa Mesa Freeway in Orange.
