Four Car Crash On Northbound 101 Requires Ambulance

A SigAlert shut down two lanes on the freeway for 30 minutes.

STUDIO CITY, CA — A four car crash that required an ambulance caused a significant traffic slowdown on the northbound 101 Friday morning. The crash took place near the Coldwater Canyon Boulevard exit around 10:07 a.m.

California Highway Patrol said a BMW, Toyota Camry, a Kia, and an unknown fourth car were involved in the crash. A woman who was in one of the cars reported feeling numbness in her legs, and an ambulance was sent to the scene.

A SigAlert blocking the innermost two lanes was issued at 10:23 a.m., and expected to last for about 30 minutes. A tow truck was also dispatched to the scene to remove the damaged cars.
