
LOS ANGELES — California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials on Wednesday asked for the public's help in finding an inmate who walked away from a Los Angeles facility on Tuesday.
Officials said Moses Lewis, 21, is at large after leaving the Male Community Reentry Program facility.
A search was conducted at 10 p.m. after authorities were notified Lewis was not at the facility.

Lewis is described as 5'7" tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was received by CDCR from Los Angeles County on Oct. 18, 2017, with a two-year sentence for first-degree burglary, and transport/import of a controlled substance.
Lewis was transferred from North Kern State Prison to the MCRP on April 17.
Anyone who sees Lewis or has any knowledge of his whereabouts should immediately contact law enforcement or call 911.
