Jenner Settles One Case in Deadly Crash

A talent manager who sued Caitlyn Jenner in connection with a four-car crash in Malibu that left one woman dead has reportedly settled her lawsuit against the former Olympic gold medalist.

TMZ.com reported today that Jessica Steindorff agreed to an undisclosed settlement paid by Jenner’s insurance company.

A woman who answered the phone at the office of Steindorff’s attorney, Robert Simon, said she could not confirm whether a settlement had been reached.

Steindorff sued Jenner on June 8 in Los Angeles Superior Court. At the time of the collision, Bruce Jenner was one of the drivers in the Feb. 7 chain-reaction crash on Pacific Coast Highway. Jenner has since undergone gender transformation to become Caitlyn Jenner.

Seindorff’s lawsuit alleged that Jenner operated a vehicle “negligently, carelessly, recklessly and wantonly” and caused the crash.

Steindorff’s Toyota Prius was stopped in traffic when it was rear-ended by a white Lexus, according to sheriff’s deputies. The Lexus was then rear- ended by Jenner’s SUV, which was towing a trailer with an all-terrain vehicle on it, deputies said.

The impact from Jenner’s vehicle propelled the white Lexus into traffic, where it collided with a black Hummer H2. The driver of the Lexus, 69-year-old Kim Howe of Calabasas, died at the scene.

Howe’s adult stepchildren also sued Jenner. That suit is still pending.
