LA Rams Reveal New Logos To Cruel World
The Los Angeles Rams released new colors and two new logos Monday to mixed reviews.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Rams revealed the club’s new colors and logos to mixed reviews Monday...maybe folks are just cranky because of the quarantine.
The logos, in “Rams royal" blue and a sunny SoCal yellow dubbed “sol,” were the subject of some harsh headlines, social media ribbing and critical comments from inside the organization itself. One of the logos features the traditional ram horns morphing into the letters LA. Another logo is an alternate design of the previous Ram head logo.

The LA horns logo had been leaked recently on a cap designed in the run-up to the NFL draft in Las Vegas. Fans widely panned the logo, and even Rams Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff had harsh words.

“It was like a bad courtroom sketch,” Demoff told the Los Angeles Times. “I was disappointed because there are some resemblances to our new logo that will jade some people when it is revealed but it had the wrong colors, the wrong shape and it didn’t have any of the details that make this logo unique and we think will resonate with Rams fans.”
Though the club released the same logo Monday, the latest version featured the Rams new colors, which according to Demoff, makes all the difference.

Not everyone agrees.
The SFGate ran with the headline, “Let's all take a minute to appreciate how terrible the Los Angeles Rams' new logo is.” Deadspin was equally cruel with “Behold: The Los Angeles Rams' New Logo Is A Giant Penis With Horns.” And USA Today wonders, “Did the Rams just rip off their new logo from Angelo State University?”
The new jerseys haven’t been revealed, and it remains to be seen just how the new logos will be used.
Here at Patch, we’re a house divided. This LA reporter actually likes the LA horns. I’m easy — I like anything that has LA in it. Plus the logo controversy gives us a sorely needed distraction.
