Open Air Taqueria And Bar Opens In Studio City
Roadside Taco features an inviting, airy atmosphere that stays true to Los Angeles culture.

STUDIO CITY, CA — A new taqueria and bar opened in Studio City last week, giving taco lovers yet another option in Los Angeles to get their fix. Roadside Taco is now open at 10628 Ventura Boulevard, just off the 101 freeway near Universal Studios Hollywood.
The restaurant offers a spacious patio, complete with rainbow patio chairs and sunset murals to set the mood. Menu offerings include an array of tacos, including chicken birria and turkey picadillo, along with specialty cocktails ranging from frozen margaritas to a "Bee keeper" with lemon juice, honey, lavender bitters, blackberries and bourbon.
Ben Goglia told Eater he aimed to create a gourmet street taco experience, with an open air atmosphere that stays true to Los Angeles culture.

“We wanted to make it an extension of an LA neighbor’s backyard, and at the same time honor these roadside taco establishments that are spread throughout Mexico,” Goglia told Eater. “As if we were if you were going down a dirt road and you stumbled upon an old garage to get your car fixed, and you realized you know kind of sons or daughters are making tacos for friends and family in the backyard.”
Roadside Taco is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday until 1:30 a.m. Sunday hours are noon until 6 p.m.
