STUDIO CITY, CA — A person who may have been homeless was killed in a crash on the northbound 5 freeway near Griffith Park early Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 2:10 a.m. near Glendale Boulevard, California Highway Patrol said.
Details on what caused the crash, or a description of the victim, weren't available. The outermost late on the freeway was temporarily closed while crews cleaned and investigated.
