Friday's forecast saw a high of 73 degrees in Studio City. Overnight, the community was expected to see a low of 44 degrees.

A red flag warning was in effect on Friday until 6 p.m., indicating elevated fire risk due to the very low humidity.

"A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are occurring," the National Weather Service said. "A combination of strong winds... low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to rapid fire spread and extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution with potential fire ignition sources."

Saturday, Sherman Oaks is expected to see sunny skies with a high of 77 degrees with a WSW wind around 5 mph. Overnight, the National Weather Service forecasts a low of 44 degrees.

Sunday's daytime forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 78 degrees, with gusts reaching as high as 10 mph. Sunday night should see a low of 47 degrees with partly cloudy skies.
