Slow Streets, Digital Bus Stop Ads On Agenda For Studio City NC
The virtual meeting will start at 7 p.m.
STUDIO CITY, CA — The Studio City Neighborhood Council will hold their first meeting of 2021 on Wednesday evening. SCNC plans to discuss City Council's motion to develop a permanent slow streets system, along with the controversial measure to install digital ad screens at public bus shelters across the city.
Studio City Neighborhood Council will also plan to oppose a motion that would allow AirBnB and similar home-sharing platforms to expand further in Los Angeles, citing the current housing crisis and still-present pandemic. Neighborhood Councils representing East Hollywood, Bel Air-Beverly Crest and South Robertson have also come out in opposition to the motion.
Finally, SCNC will discuss a City Council motion to raise penalties for unpermitted remodels, additions and building demolitions.
