Studio City Pair Arrested, Accused Of Attempted Murder: Police
Police say a man and woman from Studio City were involved in an April 27 shooting in Burbank.

STUDIO CITY, CA — A man and a woman from Studio City have been arrested in connection to an attempted murder in Burbank this April, police announced.
Sunni Kadijah Rasshad-Jahbari and Amaray Simone Matthews-Egerton were arrested Wednesday after Burbank police said they took part in a shooting on April 27 in the 4200 block of West Kling Street. Detectives served a search warrant in the 10000 block of Bluffside Drive in Studio City, taking them into custody and booking them on suspicion of attempted murder.
Bail was set at $2 million, police said.

"Burbank police detectives have determined that this incident was not random in nature and that the victim and suspects knew one another," according to a police statement.
No other details about the crime were immediately released.
