Two Trapped After Car Plunges Down Studio City Hillside
An LAFD Heavy Rescue team was called in to remove the car and free the two people.
STUDIO CITY, CA — Two people were trapped in a car that had plunged 15 feet down the side of a hill Thursday morning, causing the Los Angeles Fire Department to come and extricate them from the car. The incident was reported at 7863 W. Mulholland Dr. at 6:07 a.m., with the car resting 10 feet above a house.
Both victims were "talking and awake," but the extent of injuries was unknown, according to Margaret Stewart of LAFD. Rescue teams were called in to help tow the car out of the hillside.
Other responding crews were not required to remedy the situation, and no other details were available.
