Ventura Boulevard Bar Looks To Hire For Several Positions

STUDIO CITY, CA — A gastropub in Sherman Oaks recently announced they're hiring for several positions ahead of the summer rush. The Woodman has immediate openings for bartenders, waitresses, hosts and busboys.

The Woodman opened along Ventura Boulevard in 2014, offering burgers, beer and similar eats in a rustic, wooden setting. The sports bar also has plenty of flat-screen TVs and is a popular spot to watch the big games.

The bar described itself as "A place where you can pull out a tree-trunk stool, order one of those bacon burgers and find the kind of unusual, unfiltered local ale or sour beer you'd expect these esteemed beer guys to find you."

Job-seekers can message the Woodman on Instagram to ask about a position.

Earlier this month, the Woodman was the site of a shooting that left three people with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the shooting stemmed from an argument that turned physical, before a drive-by shooting took place outside the bar.

Two men and a woman were taken to the hospital following the shooting. No arrests have yet been announced in the shooting.
