What's Up: Hiking Trail Woes, Pinz Bowling for Seniors, Free Street Trees

Here is five things to know in Studio City today.

2. There's a free Welcome November Over 45 Singles Mixer at 7 p.m. at Raphael Restaurant. Click here for more information.

3. Check out the deal for seniors over at Pinz Bowling on Wednesdays.

4. Upper Runyon Canyon trail will be fenced/gated off in next few weeks. Click here for more information. Also, the Santa Mountains Conservancy has imposed a $3 fee in the parking lot at Laurel Canyon and Fryman below the popular Betty Dearing Hiking Trail. Click here for more information on that.

5. The City of Los Angeles currently has a federally grant funded program in which free street trees are being planted along the parkway.
