Winning Streak for Local Water Polo Team
LA Premier Water Polo Club's 16-year-olds win another prestigious tournament.

STUDIO CITY, CA --Los Angeles Premier Water Polo Club, comprised of mainly Harvard-Westlake student-athletes, won its second back-to-back prestigious water polo event this weekend. Last weekend they took the Gold Medal at US Club Championships. Yesterday, they took 1st place at the elite level 2017 Futures Superfinals in Northern California. Head Coach Brian Flacks won Best Coach. Goalkeeper, Nolan Krutonog took Best Goalie. Ryan Neopole and Pierce Maloney shared the MVP title. The winning team was given a Crystal Trophy. Athletes were given winner's towels. MVPs were given personalized backpacks. "It's been an amazing summer," says Nolan. "We are so lucky to have such awesome coaches and dedicated kids and parents. We have two big summer tournaments left: High School State Championships and Junior Olympics. Right now, we have a lot of work to do. It feels great to win, but we focus on what is ahead. The competition is fierce."
Los Angeles Premier Water Polo Club accepts girls and boys grades 3-8 and older who can swim one pool length. They offer a one-week free trial. Since 2012, L.A. Premier athletes have received acceptances and/or scholarships to play water polo at: Stanford; Harvard; Princeton; UCLA; Brown; Columbia University; Cornell; MIT; CAL; UC Davis, to name a few. According to the National Federation of High Schools, Water Polo is the fastest growing sport in the USA. L.A. Premier athletes train at the world-class facility at Harvard-Westlake. Premier athletes and coaches play and train on the current Olympic Team, USA National Team and are NCAA Champions.
