5 Dead In Fiery Crash Including Hayward Man
The crash happened in Fresno County on Tuesday. The driver of the other vehicle was airlifted from the scene.

FRESNO COUNTY - A horrible tragedy in Fresno County on Tuesday has claimed the life of a Hayward man and four other people. They were killed when their vehicle ran a stop sign, crashed into the side of a Peterbilt truck and burst into flames. Two people were pulled from the vehicle before it was engulfed, but it was too late - all five were pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision caused the truck to overturn. The driver was airlifted form the scene with major injuries. The Tulare County man is being treated at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.
The CHP reports that the crash happened at state Highway 33 and West Manning Avenue at about 9 a.m.

A spokeswoman for the Fresno County coroner's office said the names of those killed are not being released at this time.
CHP Officer Steve Schuh said authorities have been able to identify two of the victims but will have to use dental records to identify the other three.
