Arrr! Talk Like A Pirate and Get Free Krispy Kreme Donuts Thursday

Of all the wacky holidays, Talk Like a Pirate Day might come with the biggest bounty. 

On Thursday, in observance of the decade-old holiday, Krispy Kreme will be giving out a free glazed donut to anyone speaking like Jack Sparrow. You can brush up on your pirate lingo, and learn some raunchy pick-up lines, here.

Anyone who dresses up in a full pirate getup will receive a dozen free glazed donuts from Krispy Kreme. You need to wear at least three articles of pirate clothing to qualify (a costume hook, pirate hat and parrot will do the job). To help with your outfit, Krispy Kreme even has a downloadable eye patch, which you can print and cut out.

The offer is only good on Thursday.

The Union City store, located at 32450 Dyer St. at Union Landing, will be participating in the Talk Like a Pirate Day giveaway. The store will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday.
