This to be Final Season for Head Football Coach at James Logan High

Coach George Zuber was named the NFL Oakland Raiders Coach of the Week six times.

Announcement submitted by New Haven Unified School District:

After ten years as the head coach for Logan football, George Zuber will lead his team for the last time at the end of this season. After careful consideration, Coach Zuber has decided to focus his time and attention in other areas, though he hopes to continue to support Logan Football, mentoring and guiding if needed.

Coach Zuber has had an illustrious career as Logan’s head football coach. With an average of eight wins per season, Coach Zuber led the team to five MVAL League Championship wins. In 2012, Coach Zuber focused on equity for Logan football so sought, and was granted, independent status. Though this took away the possibility of the team being league champion, it provided the opportunity for Logan football players to play against more competitive teams, thus better preparing them for NCS championship competition.
