'Cash Mob' at Comic and Figure Addicts Thursday

Shop Local Union City is hosting another "cash mob" this Thursday.
The City of Union City and Chamber of Commerce-backed program is encouraging community members to visit Comic and Figure Addicts from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday.

Located at 3902 Smith St., the store specializes in rare and collectible comic books and action figures, from X-Men and The Walking Dead to Star Wars and GI Joe.
Cash mobs are just one of several components to the Shop Local Union City program. Shop Local Union City allows consumers to enroll in a free rapid rewards program and get cash-back for shopping at participating businesses. Meanwhile, participating businesses receive free exposure via social media promotions, direct marketing campaigns and events like cash mobs.
