Driver Killed In Union City Crash
The crash forced a road closure through the morning commute.

UNION CITY, CA — One person was killed in a crash at Whipple Road and Dyer Street in Union City early Tuesday morning.
According to Union City Police, the collision involved a passenger vehicle and a box-truck.
"The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and ultimately did not survive the collision," UCPD said in a printed statement. "The identity of the driver is not being released to allow for next of kin notification."
