Help Design New Teen Center in Union City

UCLS is calling young community members to serve on the Teen Center Youth Leadership Team and help advise the city on the design of a new and improved facility at the Kennedy Center.

Calling all local teens: You can help design a new teen center in Union City.

Union City’s Leisure Services Department is looking for young community members to serve on a Teen Center Youth Leadership Team, according to the New Haven Unified School District.

Over the course of two years, the team will help will advise the city on the design of a new and improved teen facility at the Kennedy Community Center. The team will also monitor construction and help develop a youth leadership program.

Those interested in learning more are invited to attend an informational meeting Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kennedy Community Center, located at 1333 Decoto Rd.
