Sig-Alert Canceled On I-880 In Hayward

HAYWARD, CA — The CHP canceled a sig-alert after a multi-vehicle, injury accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate Highway 880 in Hayward was cleared. Initially, three lanes were blocked by the crash.

The location was just south of the Whipple Avenue exit.

An ambulance was been sent to the scene.

The crash was reported at 7:02 a.m. The sig-alert was issued at 7:19 a.m. and canceled at 7:46.
