Man Arrested In Union City With Narcotics Packaged For Sale: Cops

Police say the man was already on probation for narcotics sales.

UNION CITY, CA — Union City Police arrested a man this week accused of possessing packaged narcotics for sale including cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, ecstasy, mushrooms, and adderall, along with approximately $2100 in cash.

John Delosreyes was pulled over for a traffic stop and police learned he was on probation for narcotics sales, which allowed them to search his vehicle. "When asked to step out of his vehicle, Delosreyes attempted to run from officers, but was quickly apprehended," police said in a social media post.

The arrest happened in the area of Dyer Street and Alvarado Boulevard.

Delosreyes was booked into jail on suspicion of attempting to flee from officers in addition to the narcotics sales.
