ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision on Interstate Highway 880 in Union City last week has been identified by the Alameda County coroner's bureau as 62-year-old Boris Ivanyuk of Castro Valley.
The collision occurred on northbound Highway 880 just south of Alvarado Niles Road at about 4:40 p.m. on June 28.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Ivanyuk was involved in a collision with two other vehicles but a spokesman wasn't immediately available today to provide additional details.

Ivanyuk was pronounced dead at the scene.
