UNION CITY, CA — A man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday night in Union City, police said.
Officers were sent at 9:53 p.m. to the 33700 block of Fourth Street where the shooting had just occurred, according to police. Officers located the man who was wounded.
He was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley for medical care and is expected to survive, police said.

Detectives are investigating the shooting and don't have a motive yet.
