Police Release Sketch of Armed Robbery Suspect
The suspect robbed a woman of her belongings at gunpoint on Oct. 10.

Union City police have released a sketch of a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint last week.Â
The incident occurred Thursday, Oct. 10 at about 6:15 on the 33900 block of 10 Street. According to police, the suspect approached the female victim, pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at her and demanded her property.
The victim told Patch that the suspect threatened to kill her if she did not comply, so she handed over her belongings.

The suspect then fled on foot westbound on J Street.
According to the victim, the suspect used her bank cards to purchase items at Southland Mall in Hayward.

The suspect is described as a black male adult, about 35 to 40 years and 6-feet tall with a very thin build. He was wearing a blue dress shirt, black tie, black pants and a black baseball cap.
