Bay Smile Dental in Newark is offering a variety of promotions this month for Tri-City residents, including $50 teeth cleanings for adults and $60 teeth cleanings for children. Free Job Fair in San Leandro
Looking for a job? RSVP for Tri-Cities One Stop's next job fair this Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the San Leandro Library at 300 Estudillo Ave. in San Leandro. Employers at the job fair will be recruiting for various occupations, from retail clerks and administrative support to management positions in fields such as biotech, healthcare, manufacturing and more. Volunteer for Coastal Cleanup Day
Join volunteers throughout Alameda County for Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, Sept. 21. During the annual event, volunteers help clean up rivers, creeks and beaches throughout the region. International Day of Peace
Join others around the world this Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lake Elizabeth for International Peace Day. People from all faiths will come together at the event, which will feature a testimony and plea for world peace, followed by a walk for peace around the lake. The event will be held at the Peace Pole, located behind the Kennedy Playground at the edge of Lake Elizabeth.
2nd Annual Free Niles Music Festival
If you love music -- or just old fashioned outdoors family-friendly fun -- then you don't want to miss the 2nd Annual Free Niles Music Festival this Sunday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Niles Town Plaza at 37592 Niles Blvd. in Fremont. The event will feature 25 live acts for 8 hours of music, along with kids games, food vendors and more.Â
