Traffic Signals Not Working At Busy Union City Intersection

UNION CITY, CA — Heads-up from Union City Police —

Union City Police Department advises you to expect traffic delays this morning and into the mid-afternoon, in the area of Alvarado-Niles Road and Almaden Boulevard.

The signal lights at the intersection will be operating with all-way stop controls activated while signal improvements continue.

The contractor anticipates the signals returning to normal operation prior to the release of schools in the area.
