Union City Reopens City Hall For In-Person Service
City Hall now offers service Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Remote service also remains available.

UNION CITY — The City of Union City is now open to the public for in-person services, the city announced in an email on Wednesday.
City Hall will offer front-counter service Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At the building on Alvarado-Niles Road, visitors can access services from Union City’s Building Division, Planning Division, Housing and Community Development Division, and Finance Services.

The Housing and Community Development Division and Planning Division will answer questions and receive applications by appointment only.
Finance Services has resumed all services that were available in-person prior to the pandemic, with the exception of Clipper transactions, which will resume on June 14.

Visitors must wear a face covering and follow social distancing measures.
Union City’s staff will continue to offer assistance by email or phone, and online services via the city’s website.
