Volunteers needed to assist seniors in Union City!
The Union City C.A.R.E. program (Citizens Aiding Residents and Elderly) is currently looking for volunteers!
The Union City C.A.R.E program (Citizens Aiding Residents and Elderly) is currently looking for volunteers! The C.A.R.E. program provides specially trained volunteers from Union City's Community and Recreation Department to regularly visit residents of Union City who are often neglected and forgotten; mainly the Elderly, Shut -Ins and Dependent Adults.
C.A.R.E. volunteers would be trained to recognize conditions that impede the quality of life of our more fragile citizens. C.A.R.E. works with our Police and Fire Departments to ensure the safety of the clients.
