5th Annual Full-Circle Festival Holiday Show, Sale &Raffle

Handmade gifts for the holidays and raffle with valuable prizes including pottery party for six!

For the fifth year, Full-Circle Festival will bring a group of outstanding Los Angeles artisans to
Mar Vista for a two-day holiday show and sale, Nov. 18-19, 10 am - 5 pm.

The event is sponsored by Full-Circle Pottery. Other participating studios include Persimmon Goat Designs, Studio Roja, Helen Feller Quilts, and Authentic Forgeries. Handmade jewelry, knitted hats and scarves, gourds, boxes, quilts and fabric art, and iron and pewter gifts are some of the items
they make.

The festival also provides an opportunity for Full-Circle Pottery and its studio members to sell their wares. Potters Patty Housen and Liz Rosenblatt, the co-owners, and the Full-Circle Potters will show both functional and non-functional hand-built and thrown pieces decorated using mishima, nerikomi, wax resist, and a variety of other surface techniques.

Each year the festival hosts a fundraiser. In years past the proceeds have benefited the Ovarian
Cancer Research Fund in memory of Linda Mechanic, a Mar Vista potter and activist. This year
100% of monies raised from the raffle and 10% of pottery sales will go to the Heart to Heart
International hurricane relief efforts. We believe Linda would approve, given the many needs
in devastated communities. Prizes include a pottery party for six at Full-Circle Pottery, valued at $385.
