Anthony Michael Hall Settles West LA Assault Lawsuit

A man allegedly suffered a broken wrist when the 'Brat Pack' actor pushed him and caused him to fall during an argument in Playa del Rey.

WEST LOS ANGELES -- Actor Anthony Michael Hall, best known for a string of hits in the 1980s, has reached a settlement with a man who sued the actor alleging he suffered a broken wrist when Hall pushed and caused him to fall during an argument in Playa del Rey in 2016.

Lawyers for plaintiff Richard Samson filed court papers Feb. 5 in Los Angeles Superior Court stating the case was resolved. No terms were divulged.

In the wake of the settlement, Judge Jon Takasugi on Thursday canceled all upcoming hearings in the case.
