Beach, Please! Venice Pride Big Beach Cleanup Planned For June
Venice Pride invites the community to celebrate its diversity and history with a special beach cleanup during Pride Month.
VENICE, CA — Heal the Bay and Venice Pride are partnering to bring together a big beach cleanup June 5 at Venice Beach.
"Pride weekend just got a whole lot trashier," organizers said.
People are invited to join the cleanup starting at the Venice Pride Flag Lifeguard Tower, just north of the skate park, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. June 5.

Expect fabulous prizes for most trash collected, best pride getup and more features.
All community members are welcome. Participants are encouraged to wear sunscreen, bring water in a reusable bottles and snacks. People are required to sign a mandatory waiver and register on the website.
