Missing Colorado Teen's Car Found in Venice

Girl has been missing since Feb. 5 from her Aurora, Colo. home.

Raven Cassidy Furlong, 17, has been missing since Feb. 5 from her Aurora, Colo. home, and her parents rushed to Southern California last week when a parking ticket from Venice showed up at their house, according to a Facebook page devoted to finding the teen.

Raven’s mother, along with LAPD officers found her abandoned car in Venice, but after over 12 hours of staking out the vehicle, Raven never turned up. The family said that there was no proof that anyone has been to the car, a 1999 red Ford Taurus, since Friday, according to a Facebook post.

"Inside the car items found of Raven’s appeared as if she may be with the car," the Facebook post said. "But the disturbing items belonging to others raised more issues and unanswered questions continue."

The family is concerned that the teen fell victim to an online predator after he saw her profile on modelmayhem.com, a portfolio site for aspiring models.
