Crochet Street Art Hits Abbot Kinney
A new crochet street art display is on Abbot Kinney in Venice until May 6.

VENICE, CA — New crochet street art has hit Venice in honor of Earth Day and sustainability.
"In honor of Earth Day this year, Brancott Estate teamed up with famed crochet street artist London Kaye to beautify the streets of Los Angeles," the company told Patch.
The new crochet art is located at 1202 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice. People can check out the giant, hand-crocheted, larger-than-life mural on display through May 6.

The yarn mural highlights Brancott Estate Vineyard's most trusty workers— its sheep, the company said.
"The winery has always been committed to sustainability across all aspects of winemaking and has enlisted around 1,900 New Zealand sheep - quick workers and the perfect height - to reduce its carbon footprint," the company said. "The sheep help prepare for harvest every year by plucking the leaves from our vine canopies to uncover bunches of ripening grapes in order."
