Feinstein Bets Case Of California Wine In Stanley Cup Wager With PA Senator

Finals are underway between the San Jose Sharks and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

With the 2016 NHL Stanley Cup Finals underway, California and Pennsylvania Senators have placed friendly wagers on which states team would bring home the cup.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Ca.) released a statement regarding the bet she made with Senator Bob Casey (D-Pa.) on the Stanley Cup Finals between the San Jose Sharks and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

"I'm excited to back the Sharks in their quest for a Cup and am confident that my wager with Senator Casey - a case of California chardonnay - will pay big dividends," Senator Feinstein said in a statement.

The Sharks, who rallied to beat the St. Louis Blues 5-2 in Game 6 Wednesday, will now face the Penguins in Pittsburgh Monday, Memorial Day at 5 p.m. for Game 1.

"During this year's playoff run, the Sharks have shown that they can skate with any team. Up and down the lineup they have players with character, grit and determination - not to mention the best playoff beards in the league!" Senator Feinstein said.
