Man Wounded In Officer-Involved Shooting In Venice

No officers were injured in the shooting, authorities said.

VENICE, CA — A 35-year-old man was wounded Wednesday afternoon in an officer-involved shooting in Venice.

No officers were injured and it is unclear what led to the shooting, which was reported about 5:40 p.m. in the area of Thornton and Pacific avenues, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im.

The man was conscious and breathing when taken to a hospital, Im said.
